My playground.

I love traveling, but since I am carrying the heavy task of being a student, sometimes I can't make it out of the town much. Lucky for me, I live in the beautiful San Luis Obispo, where there is opportunities to explore and hike everywhere. Can't get much better them this..

Egg-actly what I want.

Breakfast is my favorite meal. I remember when I was a child, it was a start of a great day when my dad made eggs. He didn't ever make anything fancy, but the simple egg is delicious enough in itself. I, of course, love to complicate my dishes and try eggs in an assortment of ways. Here are some fun ones I have pictures of.

I choose to eat well*. I do believe it's a choice, because amidst my busy schedule with school work and extracurricular I set aside the time to make sure i eat well.
Cooking is the only artistic thing I consider myself above average. I am still learning the art of plating and taking pictures that enhance my dishes,but as I work on that, let me just ensure you the flavor is where my art exceeds expectation, even in the most simple dishes. I cook mostly for me which makes it easier to be creative and experiment with combining flavors the I wouldn't combine if I was cooking for a group.

Who Am I && Why have I Chosen to Write

I am an opportunist, that is, whatever comes my way I try and take advantage of it to it's full potential, but at the same time I am an optimist that constantly plans and fantasizes about the future. One of the greatest things in life is the smile.
What makes me the happiest is seeing the people around me smiling and smiling right along with them.
My downfall is my all consuming mind, constantly trying to do what is best for myself while loosing sight of what is best for the whole.
I am not a woman who tries to have a large crowd of friends but rather intimate ties where I can truly find out who the person is and how I can become my best self through our friendship.
I am woman with drive and a seeker of possibilities which explains my love for travel and adventure. My adventures not only create an outlet for me to plan and fantasize but also give me a much needed time to reflect and simply enjoy, which does not happen often enough in my day to day life.
I am a foodie. I love cooking, recreating dishes found in cookbooks, eating, and learning about food.
I am a student, constantly learning and applying within and beyond the classroom.
